Welcomes Beth Forbes !!!!!
I wanted to welcome Beth Forbes to Infinity Home Mortgage Company as the Branch Manager of our Allentown, PA office... what a breath of fresh air in so many ways. Not only a true professional, but very knowledgeable in regards to the mortgage industry in so many ways. Let's take a quick look at that. Beth got into the mortgage business in 2000. Here is what she has done in that time period....
Mortgage Originations (loan officer) 2000 - present
Loan processor 2000 - 2001
Mortgage loan underwriter 2001 - 2003
Sr. VP of Operations 2003 - 2008
So as you can see the reason why I am very excited for Beth to join our company, in regards to her qualifications. Not only that, Beth has found her voice when blogging now... Beth's Blogs Beth has been a member of Active Rain since April of 2008.
I was just speaking to my boss, Mike Jaconelli, the owner of IHMCI, the other day about out Allentown Office. Mike has been frustrated the past 5 months because we have hired many new branches as of lately. No matter how much investigating that you do when hiring new people and new branches, you truly don't find out what you have until down the road. With the mortgage industry being turned upside down in the last year, loan officers and branches scrambling for new companies after so many have closed their doors, you find out who really knows their stuff. Just as so many can fool their clients with misleading information and lies, they do the same when being hired by a new manager or company. And Mike is looking forward to a quality office and not one that we would have to baby sit per se.
I had the pleasure of meeting Beth Forbes through our own Scott Geary of Active Rain at an AR function that I held in Princeton, NJ back in May 2008. Overall, I am glad that it all has come together, after first talking about this back in July of this year. Beth and her partner had to check out other offers and try a few out. I am thankful that they chose Infinity Home Mortgage. It's not easy to pick a new company, by any means. I think it's a great fit and I look forward to working with Beth It's refreshing to actually talk & work with another true mortgage professional.
